Kuala Lumpur, 21st March 2014 – The nation’s favourite footie fan club, Tiger FC, brought together hundreds of real football fans from across the Klang Valley to revel in a celebration of the beautiful game at Beer Factory, Sunway Giza, on Sunday 16th March.
Now in its 10th year, Tiger FC is known as the footie experiential expert – and the line-up of events for the third ‘Big Away Game’ this season was no exception. Kicking off at 7:30pm, real fans enjoyed an evening of football fun with various on-ground activities, promotions, and contests to test their footie fandom.
Throughout the evening, fans participated in various games and activities with fabulous prizes. One lucky winner netted a brand-new PS4 complete with game, while another scored an iPad mini courtesy of Tiger Beer.
Fans who have always dreamed of grabbing the front cover of a football magazine got their chance at the Tiger FC photobooth during the ‘Big Away Game’. Consumers simply had to get their photo snapped striking a heroic pose at the booth, and by the marvels of modern technology, found themselves inserted onto their very own football front page. Fan-favourite ‘The Wall of Real Fans’ also made its triumphant return, showcasing the passion of some of the 100,000 Tiger Beer fans across Malaysia in a virtual stadium.
Keeping the action roaring at full pace throughout the evening, urban dance troupe Trouble Queenz were on hand to provide half-time entertainment.
With all of these exciting activities in the lineup, there was certainly no better place for fans to be for an evening of football fun. Fans who couldn’t make it to Beer Factory weren’t left out, however, as the Tiger FC ‘First 11’ visited various venues across Kuala Lumpur, armed with the new Tiger FC ‘Shootout’ game.
