UN Global Compact Network Malaysia and Brunei Forward Faster Sustainability Awards 2023
Heineken Malaysia Berhad was recognised for our exceptional leadership in building resilience for water-related challenges at the recent UN Global Compact Network Malaysia and Brunei (UNGCMYB) Forward Faster Sustainability Awards 2023. HEINEKEN Malaysia was awarded in the Water Resilience category, the recognition acknowledged the brewer’s progress made under the Towards Healthy Watersheds programme.
Malaysian Dutch Business Council Innovation and Sustainability Awards 2023
HEINEKEN Malaysia received the award of Outstanding Dutch Investor in Malaysia in the MNC category, in recognition of our positive strides towards the aspirations of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and our ability to showcase our sustainability efforts and best practices through our value chain, including community outreach programmes.

UNGCMYB Sustainability Awards 2022
Heineken Malaysia Berhad was recognised at the United Nations Global Compact Malaysia & Brunei Sustainability Performance Awards 2022, winning two awards in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Ambition Benchmarks Awards category. HEINEKEN Malaysia was awarded for:
– SDG Ambition Benchmark 2: Net-positive water impact in water-stressed basins
– SDG Ambition Benchmark 3: Zero waste to landfill and incineration

HEINEKEN Malaysia has been awarded the Company of the Year in the Manufacturing & Beverage Category for supporting micro businesses & enterprises during the pandemic – in recognition of the outstanding work to Support Our Stakeholders at the height of COVID-19 through campaigns as well as for our environmental sustainability efforts, in particular recognising the excellence of our water stewardship initiatives that has helped our company reach more than 100% water balance, 10 years ahead of our 2030 commitment.
